About Chris

A lifelong Kentucky native who grew up in Louisville and Elizabethtown, Chris Brady learned the value of hard work and integrity early in life.  He watched his single-parent mother work hard to provide a home.  She instilled in him a strong work ethic and the importance of education.

After graduating from Western Kentucky University, he returned to his hometown of Louisville to start a career.  Soon afterward, Chris met his wife, Deanna, and is the proud father of two young boys who attend school at James E. Farmer Elementary.

As a training professional, Chris has worked with educational institutions, non-profits, and corporations.  His in-classroom education experience includes teaching at Indiana University Southeast as an adjunct instructor, numerous JCPS schools as a substitute teacher, and several businesses throughout Kentucky as a corporate trainer.  Chris is now a medical technology trainer for Norton Healthcare specializing in the EPIC electronic medical record system.

His record of public service includes serving on the board for his neighborhood association, organizing local Brightside cleanups, and volunteering for the Floyd’s Fork Creek Sweep.  Additionally, he has been a member of or volunteered for several organizations including Farmer Elementary PTA, Focus Louisville, The Neighborhood Institute, and the Young Professionals Association of Louisville.
